Community Invited to Open House Week for LaMoure Clinic

LaMoure, ND - Oakes Community Hospital invites the public to a special Open House week of its new outpatient clinic, LaMoure Clinic, located inside the First State Bank Mall.

“We are extremely excited about our new clinic in LaMoure,” said Lee Boyles, hospital administrator. “It’s important that we provide quality outpatient care that is accessible and available when community members need it, and that’s what we’ll be offering.”

Open House week kicks off on Monday, Aug. 2nd and continues through Friday, Aug. 6th. The public is invited to drop by each of those days between 12 and 6 p.m. Tours, blood pressure checks, free glucose screenings, free gifts, and refreshments will be available. Meet and talk with the clinic’s provider, Larry Hendricks, Physician Assistant and learn more about his medical background and experience.

A community BBQ sponsored by Oakes Community Hospital and LaMoure Clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, August 3rd at 5:30pm north of the clinic to celebrate the opening. There will be a free will donation being collected at the BBQ to raise money for the LaMoure Community Ambulance.

“This clinic really does make health care easier for our patients. It will be open during hours when people need us and patients will have access to our hospital’s resources,” said Director of Nursing, Kim Ketterling. “We’re very proud to make LaMoure part of our health care family.”

Those attending the Open House week have the opportunity to transfer their patient records in advance of appointments. Appointments can be scheduled now by calling (701) 883-4260. The clinic will be open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm daily starting August 2nd.
