Oakes Community Hospital provides care to everyone, regardless of his or her ability to pay. Free care is made possible for those who have received care but are unable to pay. This may be the total billing, or a portion of the charges incurred. The percentage is determined based upon earnings and asset information included in the application. Individual cases are reviewed by the uncompensated care committee.
