“FRIENDS” Provide Items for Swingbed and Hospital

 

The Friends organization recently donated funds to assist with the purchase of radio communication equipment and other items for Lisbon Area Health Services. The “FRIENDS” Organization has had another great year of fund raising and doing staff lunches and resident meals.

Our Tree of Love and our Christmas Bake Sale helped provide us with enough money to help make a difference, not only on our Swingbed Unit, but also out Hospital.

2009 will start off with a new president for our group. Joyce Huether has graciously accepted her nomination. Kathy Peterson will now be vice president along with Arlys Carter, Treasurer, and Darline LeVang as secretary.

Some of our accomplishments this year include plant stands, patio furniture for the deck, nite stands, over-the-bed tables for swingbed unit, and the remainder of the grant money needed for a fiber optic scope for the OR. We should also be able to put $2,400.00 towards communication equipment for the hospital.

Thank you all for your generous support. We are looking forward to the new year and being able to help as much as possible.
